Handshake

Handshake (handshakeapp.co) is a scheduling platform that helps travel baseball coaches find and lock non-league games with other teams. Handshake is run by Handshake ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you post, including open dates, locations, and team details, and for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per coach or team representative.
Handshake helps coaches connect and agree on games. We are not a party to any game. We do not verify teams, coaches, players, fields, umpires, insurance coverage, or field permits. Whether a game happens, where it happens, and under what conditions is entirely between the participating teams. You are responsible for confirming details, securing fields, and carrying any insurance your organization requires.
You agree not to: scrape, copy, or harvest content or data from Handshake by any automated means; post false availability or impersonate another team or coach; use the platform to spam or harass other users; attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; or reverse engineer, resell, or rebuild the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Handshake is currently free to use. We may introduce fees for certain features in the future. If we do, we will give you clear notice before anything is charged, and posting availability and requesting games will remain free.
The Handshake name, design, and software are ours. Content you post (your team info, open dates, messages) is yours, but you give us permission to display and process it as needed to run the service, for example showing your open dates to other coaches on the board.
You can stop using Handshake at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are harming the platform or other users.
Handshake is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any game arranged through the platform will take place. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Handshake is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss, or dispute arising from games arranged through the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which today is zero.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
We may update these terms as Handshake grows. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
